Founded in 2019, Brussels Distillery is the only craft distillery located in Brussels. What distinguishes this distillery from others is mainly its size. Indeed, it has a still of only 200 litres, which makes it one of the smallest distilleries in Belgium. It specialises in creating high quality spirits from local and organic ingredients.
It is a family story first and foremost. Alexis introduced his father Serge to the basics of distillation, which now allows him to run the distillery. Their production process involves distilling in small batches, which allows them to closely monitor the quality and flavour of their spirits.
One of their most popular products is Brussels Gin, which is made from a combination of 11 botanicals, including juniper, coriander and lavender. The gin has a distinct flavour profile that includes citrus and floral notes, as well as a subtle hint of spice. In addition to its classic gin, Brussels Distillery also produces a range of other spirits, including vodka, rum and liqueurs. It focuses on sustainability and social responsibility, working closely with local farmers and producers to source the highest quality ingredients.
