Zandoli is an artisanal distillery based in Brussels, Belgium, specialising in the production of rum. The distillery was founded with the aim of creating a quality, authentic and environmentally friendly rum.
The name "Zandoli" comes from the Creole word for the gecko, which is a small lizard found in the West Indies, where the distillery's rum is produced. The lizard has a mystical connotation and symbolises escape, dreams, relaxation and wisdom.
Zandoli uses a traditional production method for its rum, with the aim of preserving the secrets of traditional production. They currently offer three different rums inspired by three tropical regions: Martinique, Jamaica and Reunion Island. All three rums are aged in bourbon barrels in Belgium, and have particular flavours depending on the region from which they are inspired.
