The Drunken Horse Gin is a craft gin distillery located in Antwerp, Belgium. Their gin is made from 100% natural ingredients and is distilled in small batches. The name The Drunken Horse is inspired by a local legend that the draft horses of local farmers became dizzy after eating the wild juniper berries growing in the fields.
The gin is distilled in a copper still from 12 carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, coriander, orange peel and lemon. The gin is distilled using the London Dry Gin method, giving it the smooth, rounded flavour for which it is renowned. Drunken Horse is drunk with black pepper, which enhances its flavours and gives it a spicy finish.
