Anthony's story began in 2011. At the end of his studies in agricultural technology and management and at only 22 years old, Anthony decided to start his own business in the production of the rarest spice in the world, saffron, in the province of Brabant-Wallon.
Passionate about this crop, Anthony brought his partner, Pauline, into the adventure. With only 500 saffron bulbs at the start, Anthony now has 20,000. His saffron, also known as "red gold" of superior quality, has enabled him to start brewing a beer (Les quatres pistils) with a unique and surprising taste. Always concerned with innovation and modernity, Anthony decided to create a Saffron Gin in 2020, which won a medal at the international competition in Lyon in 2021. The couple organises tours of their facilities to draw consumers' attention to the difficulty of growing saffron.
