Three childhood friends, Julian, Guillaume and Flavio, had the idea of creating a gin that is 100% Montois. They wanted to create spirits bearing the image of their city, Mons. With their gin, they wanted to honour in their own way one of the traditions of the Doudou, a popular festival recognised by unesco as one of the masterpieces of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity.
Their gin is distilled in the distillery in Biercée. The distillery produces gin from a careful selection of quality ingredients, including gooseberries. It is the only Belgian company to offer a spirit made from this often overlooked fruit. The result is a fresh and spicy gin with a slight bitterness. In the future, they want to develop their range of spirits, like the rum they launched last year, which is already a great success.
