Dada Chapel

An irreproachable artisanal quality

The Dada Chapel Distillery is located in a building with a rich history, the Vanden Meersche, in the city centre of Ghent, Belgium. The name "Dada Chapel" refers to the Dadaist art movement, which advocated freedom and innovation in reaction to conventional culture. The distillery draws on this philosophy by experimenting with local and exotic ingredients to create original and unique spirits.

The distillery produces a range of artisanal products including gins, rums, liqueurs and bitters. Dada Chapel's gins are made from juniper berries and other carefully selected botanicals such as cardamom, black pepper and citrus. The rum is made from molasses, aged in oak barrels and flavoured with spices and herbs to give complex and rich flavours. Liqueurs are made from fresh fruit and herbs, while bitters are used to add complexity and depth to cocktails.

Dada Chapel Distillery focuses on artisanal quality, using traditional distillation methods and avoiding artificial additives. For example, when they made their first vodka and bought 3 tonnes of potatoes from local farmers, they were responsible for washing them. The distillery also offers guided tours and tastings to allow customers to discover the world of artisanal distillation and to taste the distillery's products.
